A few weeks ago we were asked to come up with some Van signage for a regular client who was venturing into a slightly different avenue. Steven from Jannies Cleaning Services, has come up with a great idea to help people in need of some financial support. The new venture, called Piggy Vest, concentrates on Carpet Cleaning and donates 50% of its profits to helping those who need it most. New avenues of Cleaning will be introduced overtime. Signs Blog Anyone?
Showcasing some of our projects...
The signage industry is widely misunderstood by many. In this blog we will endeavour to explain the processes involved to give you an inside look into how we work.
With input from owner Maurrie Weber, we were able to come up with this customised logo and emblem for his newly established electrical business. Using high quality materials ensures that this signage will last for years to come and will keep the vans looking professional. Materials: AVERY 800 series cast vinyl - Outdoor life: 7+ Years.
With a name like Sunny Faces, this signage needed to be bright! Using high quality materials on this Partial wrap ensures that this signage will last for years to come. Materials: AVERY 800 series cast vinyl. 3M Print Media and Cast Vinyl - Outdoor life: 5+ Years.
After 2 years, we decided to change the graphics on our ute.
We decided to go with a two-tone Wrap using Avery Brand Matt Black Supreme Wrap vinyl and Avery 800 series Vinyl for the rest of the graphics.
Removing all the door handles and rubbers ensured that the highest quality job possible was achieved. It also makes our job a lot easier!
A white VW Caddy is the perfect mobile billboard.
We wrapped the Base of this Caddy with Digitally printed images printed on 3M Controltac and Laminated with a UV Clear for maximum life span.
For the back window we used One Way Vision vinyl which is laminated with a UV optically clear vinyl. The rest of the signage is die cut vinyl graphics.
Price including design was around $950.00 and has a gaurantee for 5 years.
We were recently asked to sign write Riverhills Childcare's Hiace Commuter Van.
Working in closely with the owners we came up with this eye catching concept which keeps the kids entertained.
This is what is called a half wrap. We used 3M controltac vinyl, laminated with a UV protective clear on the sides rear and front.
And for the back window we used One Way Vision vinyl which is laminated with a UV optically clear vinyl.
Price including design was around $3000.00 and has a guarantee for 5 years.
One Way Vision Signage is turning into one of the most popular forms of vehicle advertising.
One Way Vision signage is a safe way of advertising on your glass because the thousands of tiny little holes allows the driver to still see through the window panels it is applied to.
You may have heard people complain that when it rains the little holes fill up with water or dust which makes it unsafe to drive?
To counteract this, we laminate all our one way vision graphics and seal the edges with an optically clear laminate which means water and dirt can't penetrate.
Recently we had been asked to sign write some vans for Jannies Cleaning Services in Brisbane. We are now up to van number 3 and look forward to signing more of their fleet as the business grows.
We worked with Steve and Jan closely on this project to ensure that the end result stood out on the road but also promoted a clean image which is ideal for the industry they are in. We are proud to offer the highest quality materials for all our signage projects. The materials used are of the highest quality and have an outdoor life of up to 8 years.
Towards the end of last year we were asked to undertake the project of sign writing this van for Supreme Caffeine.
After a relaxing break over the holiday period, we quickly got to work. With input from the owners we came up with this eye catching, uncluttered design. Some vehicles I see driving around, have too much information on them. This makes them hard to read and the most important information like name, website and phone number, quite often get lost. By keeping the design simple and uncluttered the overall impact is greatly improved.
The text you see on the van, including the black stripe, was installed using a 7 year UV resistant cast vinyl. The 'Heart Coffee' was printed on a cast digital media and laminated with a UV protective laminate. The back window graphic is a 'One Way Vision' digital print with an optically clear UV laminate and as the name suggests, you can see out, but visibility is limited lookin in.
Supreme Caffeine brings award winning Octane coffee to you where ever you are in South Brisbane. Supreme Caffeine mobile coffee van comes to you at work as well as markets, sporting events, or functions.

Client: Citiscan Radiology
Project: Suzuki Swift
Towards the beginning of this year, CitiScan Radiology employed us to install signage to their Radiology clinic in Brisbane CBD.
While installing their graphics to their windows, I said to my colleague, "This design would look awesome on a little run around car! Something like a Hyundai i30 or similar." My colleague promptly agreed, and then, as we do, we both completely forgot about it. Now I'm not saying that we wished this into existence, but a few months later we were asked to undertake the task of Sign Writing a Suzuki Swift for them.
This is what is called a semi-wrap in signage lingo. This involves moulding 7 Year Cast Dark Grey Vinyl to all the lower panels of the car by pulling and stretching the vinyl in place and then resetting the materials molecules using a heat gun. All the other 7 Year Cast Colours were then placed on top and around to create this master piece. On the back window we used a material called 'One Way Vision' which allows the driver to see out but hinders passers-by from being able to see in clearly.
